About Sensory Gyms
A sensory gym is a room designed for active sensory play that includes equipment providing proprioceptive and vestibular sensory input — swings, trampolines, zip lines, rock walls, ball pits, monkey bars, and more. They help children develop fine and gross motor skills in a fun, therapeutic environment.
Our gyms are designed for children with Sensory Processing Disorder, children on the Autism Spectrum, and any child who benefits from occupational, physical, speech, or ABA therapy. They're also great for general developmental and motor skill building.
We install custom sensory gyms in both residential and commercial spaces. For families, we build in basements, attics, bedrooms, and garages — hundreds of parents reach out weekly looking to bring therapy into the home. On the commercial side, we serve occupational therapy clinics, ABA centers, schools, hospitals, churches, airports, and community centers. Many of our clinic clients have expanded to multiple locations after their initial build.
Absolutely. Every gym we build is designed around the individual child's sensory profile, diagnosis, and therapeutic goals. We work closely with families and, when possible, their occupational therapists to ensure the equipment and layout target the right sensory systems.
Our gyms are professionally engineered, manufactured in our own facilities, and installed by our certified team. Unlike consumer-grade products, our equipment is commercial-grade, weight-rated, and designed as an integrated system — not individual pieces bolted to a wall. We're also the only company in the world insured and bonded specifically for sensory gym installations.
Design & Installation
Our gyms include swings, zip lines with tracker systems, rock walls, trampolines, ball pits, monkey bars, slides, castle structures, seclusion areas, jump decks, trapeze handles, ninja ramps, tunnel systems, and therapy balls. Every piece is custom-designed to your space and needs.
Once you contact us, a design consultant discusses your vision and goals. You provide prints, sketches, or photos of your space, and we create a comprehensive layout. We offer unlimited design revisions until you're completely satisfied with the design and materials.
Home sensory gym installations are completed in one day. Smaller clinics are typically done over a single weekend. Larger commercial facilities can take up to two weeks. We schedule work on weekends to avoid disrupting therapy schedules.
We've designed gyms in spaces as small as 8' x 10' and as large as full commercial facilities. During your free consultation, we'll evaluate your space and design a gym that maximizes every square foot. Even small rooms can be transformed into highly effective therapeutic environments.
We encourage it. Many of our clients' OTs are involved in the design consultation to ensure the gym supports specific therapeutic goals. We also have decades of experience working alongside therapy professionals and can recommend equipment configurations based on common treatment plans.
